  Discussing the RC with a friend and my JW wife was listening.

  i am fuming at the moment and my wife has made me so angry.. i live in germany and an ex jw, a friend of mine is also ex jw but does not understand english so i was giving him a rundown on the friday session of the rc with gj.

  my wife was in another part of the house but heard my phone ring and so she came to listen, i did not realize this, because when the phone rang i closed two doors between myself and my wife.

  she opened the first door and started listening to the conversation.

  Why is it we are so calm when pointing out problems in the organization but

  JW's go berserk calling people names, really get emotional. If they feel it's a out right lie,

  they shouldn't worry about it.. Stay calm my friend..

  When I returned from Viet Nam(1968) mini skirts was the new fashion, ten

  years earlier my friends and I were looking at Sears catalog in the women

  underwear section(1955).In one year skirts had risen from below the knees to

  within the first few minutes, mr. stewart asked geoffrey jackson if the members of the governing body consider themselves to be god's spokesperson on earth.. his response: "that would be presumptuous of us" (implying that they don't consider themselves to be god's sole channel of communication).. to me, that was the worst lie of about 26 lies he's told during this hearing.

  however, mr. stewart missed an opportunity to call out mr. jackson on this bold-faced lie.

  he should have asked him to explain why the watchtower magazine teaches otherwise.

  To be fair Mr Jackson suffer from delusions and the other six GB members, they

  are sick. They turn the tables and actually shape perception. They may not

  correctly distinguish among different sensory input and rely on these delusions to

  make sense of the world.

  So give the poor SOB's a break, they need help.

  i thought at the end, stewart made brilliant use of scripture (about establishing fornication or other sexually immoral practises) how, in such a clever way stewart used scripture to point out that some one could basically stake out someone's house to see if a person stayed over night be they homosexual or heterosexual............that on the basis of a sort of stakeout, the two witness rule was ambivalent yet it prevailed.

  due to sufficient suspicion.. and therefore why did this "suspicion" not prevail with child sexual abuse.
